Geopark Vestjylland covers the area Lemvig, Struer and Holstebro municipalities and a part of the Limfjord and a part of the North Sea. In the figure, you can see how large the areas are.

The coast along the North Sea is 50 km long and the coasts in the Limfjord have a Kysten langs Nordsøen er 50 km lang, medens kyststrækningerne i Limfjorden has a total lenth og 168 km.
The city areas cover 4% of the land area, the holiday home area 1% and the rest 95% is rural zone.
