Bomhuset

The Toll House (Bomhuset) is the oldest and smallest house in Holstebro

The Toll House was built in 1792 and served as visitors’ first encounter with the town of Holstebro, as this was where they had to pay a fee when selling their goods at the town’s markets.

In 2020, the Association for Building and Landscape Culture in Holstebro and Surroundings awarded the house a plaque for its exterior renovation. The plaque was installed in connection with the completion of the Toll House’s interior renovation in 2024.

It is possible to stop by and see the house when activities are taking place there.
